The importance of creative imagery depiction of your message, and your business image, is ESSENTIAL in graphic/web design.

Images/graphics incite emotion. Emotion incites response. We see far too many text based websites that do nothing to incite you to stay, much less entice you to buy. While keyword text is important in people finding your site, if you don't entice them to stay or buy, your site is worthless. On the other hand, a website that is purely graphical might never be found by web crawlers since there is no text to crawl. Finding the balance requires finding a web designer and/or graphic designer that understands and sees the full "picture".

It's important to find a design/marketing company (especially in web design) that understands the full cycle of marketing. There are many artists out there that can create beautiful graphics.
